White Oak Foundation Turkey Drive
In partnership with White Oak Baptist Church and the White Oak Foundation, the Cary Nupes assists with over 100+ turkey baskets to underserved families in the Western Wake County communities we serve.

Room to Read: Partner's Read
A global nonprofit focused on children’s literacy and girls’ education by developing the love and frequency of reading at an early age in underdeveloped countries. Room to Read and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. formed a partnership to address literacy among elementary school children through the fraternity’s Hands on Books program.

Shop With A Kappa
In partnership with our local area Walmart, we host this annual event, focused on underprivileged children and families in our community, to ensure they have a successful Christmas holiday.

Annual Diaper Drive Collection
Cary Nupes annually collects 1000 + Baby Diapers to address the disparities of underserved families throughout Wake County & donate these pallets of diapers to Saint Saviour’s Community Outreach Center.

Senior Kappa Affairs
The Senior Kappa Affairs Committee is designed to retain and reclaim members of the fraternity who are 60 years of age and older as active, contributing, fully financial brothers, to encourage programs that will facilitate their involvement that will enhance their well being, we also encourage our local chapter committees to involve themselves in community service initiatives that are geared toward senior citizens in their respective service area
Kappa League
The Kappa Youth Leadership & Development League is a program designed to aid young men grow and develop their leadership talents in every phase of human endeavor. This national initiative commonly referred to as “Kappa League,” is a program for the educational, occupational and social guidance of male students in grades 6th-12th.
Cary Kappa League was chartered on April 28, 2012. We received the Middle Eastern Province Guide Right Program of the Year for three consective years in a row: 2013, 2014 & 2015.

Grade Point average of at least 2.5 (Excluding 7th and 8th graders).
School Enrollment (from 7th to 11th grade).
A Letter of interest (1 full page – typed and double spaced)
Two Letters of Recommendation (letters can be from either a parent/guardian, or community leader – Teacher, Counselor, Spiritual leader/Advisor, etc.)
$55 Membership fee to cover Induction materials ($30 annual dues thereafter)
